In my  industry I  work with  business owners on a variety of  levels. Sometimes it seems  as though there is a large brown  couch in front of me and everyone  keeps jumping on and off to talk about their problems.  As I listen I realize everyone is dealing with issues that frustrate them from time to time.  So in this article I'm asking the question : What is bugging You , and what are you doing about it?

We have all heard the terms proactive or reactive.  But the truth is the truth and it's worth repeating.  We live in an age where we can post webinars, phone seminars, tweets, Facebook announcements, and blogs to communicate our points of view.  If it  involves people there will be opportunity to be frustrated.  So I'd love to open up a discussion not only to talk about WHAT challenges face us in business , but what great solutions have made a difference for you.

Here is my example:  On social networks  when you post a comment some people love it, some hate it ,and some debate it.  I have found that discussions are profitable. You learn about other peoples personalities, ideas, and belief systems.  I decided long ago to not spend time with useless banter.  Our time is precious and we have to be very careful who we lend it to.  So my solution to aggressive comments and those  who are a little less than kind is to disconnect  in my response.  By doing so I am able to spend time with those who enjoy being PROductive and not DEStructive.

How about you?

If you don't know this already, one of the greatest problems facing small business owners is collecting on accounts. Many times your clients are over extended, paid for too much inventory, and now they look at you with empty hands.  This can be a very frustrating issue. So What is a business owner to do? Find ways to receive money that will ensure it gets into your account quickly and efficiently.  Recently I had a friend tell me how much more business he did due to accepting credit cards. He said it made it very easy for clients to say,"you have the card so just add ......"  So I began researching because I don't like to be overcharged for anything.  I came across a great deal. A merchant account that beats all of its competitors, great 2.19% rate. Low monthly fee $7.99, no cotracts or cancellation fees, and excellent customer service. Plus they will pay you!  I know it sounds too good to be true but I really do work hard to present you with some great deals and this is no exception. So this is what you do Call my rep her name is    Meagan   1.800.941.6557 ext 2124. If you have an existing account she will do a price comparison and show you how much you can save.   in order to get the great rate tell her Lisa Cash Hanson from Blueberry Baboon referred you & send me a quick email @  lisa@blueberrybaboon.com to tell me you contacted her  and you are on your way to saving and keeping more of your money!  Good Luck!

Hi, my name is Lisa Cash Hanson and I am the President of Blueberry Baboon, a business consulting company.  I'm sure I am like most of you as fellow entrepreneurs and business owners, we are so busy. Daily tasks such as making connections, emails, revamping web sites, writing 8 tips for selling, 5 tips to be a Millionaire, 10 ways to market....you get the picture, consume our days.

In the midst of one of these daily tasks late in the evening, I received this email:

"Hey friends.  On Saturday evening, I found out I'm going into brain surgery Sunday morning.  Apparently, I have spinal fluid leaking into my brain.  I have had a shunt since I was a few months old for the same reason.  This fluid leakage when I was an infant, is the reason why I'm mostly blind in both eyes.  This is a major surgery, but I'll be fine afterwords.  Please pray.
Blessings and good night."

When you get an email like this your entire focus just shifts.  I know that it is important to be diligent, determined , and hard working. But this note reminded me that the most important step in business, with your family and especially regarding your health...is to just be thankful.

So today I am thankful for my health, my ability to be creative and make money, my family, my faith and so may other things. What are you grateful for today? Remember to give thanks.
